– 3 Coast Guard interceptor boats deployed from Kochi.
– Additional units rushed from Beypore; rescue boats expected to reach by 4 PM.

Kerala CM Pinarayi Vijayan directed Ernakulam & Kozhikode District Collectors to prepare emergency medical facilities in case rescued crew are brought ashore.
